PURPOSE
Expand 'Data' storage capacity of a HPE ProLiant server to build a large archive, backup or multimedia library.
DESCRIPTION
Up to 4 storage boxes of different models can be connected directly to a HPE ProLiant server. The maximum additional storage capacity (not including the internal server drive bays) is 576 TB (4 x 12 drives x 12 TB), but usable space is less when RAID 1, 10, 5, 50, 6, 60 is used.
The server must be equipped with a RAID Controller for Storage Boxes.
